2023 Benefit Fundraiser
On Thursday, September 21, 2023, Citizens for the Extension of the James Zadroga Act, Inc., had a fundraiser to support its mission to advocate for injured and ill 9/11 responders and survivors who are still to this day suffering from their exposure to toxins at Ground Zero in New York, the Pentagon and the Shanksville crash site in the aftermath of the 9/11 attack.
At the event we honored Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli; Congressman Andrew Garbarino; General Secretary-Treasury Emeritus Armand E. Sabitoni; and the members of Laborers’ International Union of North America who have been champions of the 9/11 community day in and day out throughout the years.
We honored these individuals and the organization for their work to ensure that all 9/11 responders, survivors, and their families receive the health care and compensation they need and deserve.
