Sean Michael

Sean Michael is serving as a Chiefs’ Representative for the Uniformed Fire Officers Association. He is currently the Recording Secretary, and serves on multiple committees including the Health and Safety Committee.  In his role he represents and advocates for active and retired members of the UFOA.  He is a 27 year member of the FDNY, having attained the rank of Battalion Chief, assigned to Battalion 16 in Harlem.  He has been actively involved with community outreach and training as an instructor in the New York City Community Emergency Response Team. He is a past instructor for the First Line Supervisors Training Program, teaching and mentoring newly promoted officers in the FDNY. He is a former licensed Financial Advisor, for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and NatWest Securities. He has a BS in Fire Administration from Columbia Southern University.
